At Risk Afterschool Programs
Your afterschool program may qualify as an “at risk” site if you operate in a school district area that serves more than 50% low income families. While many sites are eligible to participate because they offer child care, an “at risk” site is able to bypass many of the other requirements that a traditional child care center has to comply with. The purpose of this designation is to make serving low income children (birth to 18) nutritious meals with as little regulation as possible. Paperwork is simple, no enrollment or income forms are necessary. Licensing is not a requirement. We serve sites that are operated by YMCA’s, YWCA’s, Boys and Girls Clubs and neighborhood rec centers. Call today to see if your program qualifies. 704-375-3938.
